As an accomplished oil and gas professional with 10 years and 1 month of hands-on experience in exploration & and production (E&P) and distribution, I currently serve as a Maintenance Engineer at United Energy Pakistan (Formerly BP & OMV) at the Naimat gas field. My roles have spanned Maintenance Planning, Project Engineering, Field Service, Maintenance, and Commissioning. Proficient in the operations and maintenance of critical assets such as compressors, gas/diesel engines, pumps, heat exchangers, and fin fan coolers, I specialize in the Commissioning & Start-up of compressor packages. My expertise extends to Contractor & Manpower management, Engineering documentations, and the comprehensive planning and execution of Preventive & Corrective maintenance. I bring leadership capabilities, fostering motivation among cross-functional teams, and a unique ability to think outside the box. Well-versed in hazard identification and Risk Assessment, Permit to Work System, Job Safety Analysis, failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action system (FRACAS), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis techniques (RCA). To lead a maintenance team to ensure implementation of all corrective and Preventive Maintenance job plans in a safe and proficient manner making optimum use of resources. Primary accountabilities include:
-Maintenance Budgeting (Opex & Capex) and Economics (proposals preparation & justification)
-Equipment Overhauling Management (Spares Procurement & Overhauling Execution)
-Supervising Predictive, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance jobs.
-Designs Preventive Maintenance Programs for all critical items of machinery and equipment and lubrication programs for all plant machinery.
-Inventory management (co-ordination with the production for the planning of plant shut down)
-Strong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems-CMMS (Maximo). Manages work requests, work orders, Purchase Requisitions (PRs), equipment history, etc. through MAXIMO.
-Assists in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) activities to minimize machine downtime.
-Assists in the investigation of plant problems, incidents, accidents, and unusual events, and provide analyses, recommendations, reports,and appropriate follow-up plans.
-Provide technical support to all departments and making cost effective decisions with regard to the repair and maintenance.
-Working on following equipment maintenance includes:
-Waukesha Gas Engines (7042G/GL/GSI and 7044GSI-ESM; VGF H24GL/GLD), Caterpillar Gas and Diesel Engines (Models: G3412TA, G/D-3406NA/TA, G/D-3306NA, G399, D3208 etc)
-Reciprocating Pumps make NoV (Quituplex 625Q and Triplex 200T), Weatherford Pumps
-Maintenance of Turbochargers, Pulsation Dampeners, Horizontal and Vertical Centrifugal Pumps
- Instrument Air Compressors (Quincy,Meiji, Atlas Copco), Reciprocating Gas Compressors: ARIEL (JGK/4, JGJ/2, JGE/2, JGK/2), GE & Worthington Compressor, Screw Type Gas Compressor (Frick & Kobelco).
-Ensure compliance with the health and safety regulation and quality standards.
